Pre Driver Checks
During the pre-driver checks you were relaxed and friendly putting me at ease checking my license and eyesight and explaining why this was necessary.
Pre Vehicle Checks
When we did the pre-vehicle checks you asked me about the things that I normally check on my car before driving and then helped me to consider what else needed to be checked using ‘F.L.O.W.E.R.Y.’ and made a great impact on me when you discussed tyres.
In Car Presentation
Your in-car presentation was good and it would be improved if you added some more statistics in order to make it real, relevant and in order to make an impact on my as a company driver.
Instructional Techniques
Aims & Objectives
You explained to me well what was going to happen, what was expected of me, and how we were going to achieve it.
Level of Instruction
Your instruction was flexible and matched to the ability and experience of the pupil portrayed by myself.  You established my prior knowledge and understanding before the training began helping you to assess where I was in the learning process which enabled you to pitch the level of instruction appropriately.  During the lesson you observed my performance well and adjusted the level and style of instruction to match my ability.
Planning of Session
The session was planned and timed well to help me to improve following a logical pattern in an orderly manner.  The theory and practical training session was relevant my ability.
Control of Lesson
Your directions on route and instructions were clear and concise, given in the correct manner and in good time, neither too early nor too late considering the prevailing road conditions.
Communication
The language that you used was clear and concise avoiding the use of unnecessary jargon and technical terms and where necessary you explained the meaning well to avoid confusion.
Q & A Technique
At appropriate times during the training session you asked me questions that contributed well towards meeting the lesson objectives. They were simply worded reasonable and relevant to the driving that was portrayed, especially during the initial assessment drive which helped you to establish a good rapport with me and helped you build up a good profile.
Feedback & Encouragement
You gave me some excellent feedback at relevant times during the training session informing me of my progress and also at the end set me some tasks to carry out to help me to continue to develop. You also gave me some excellent feedback at the end of each phase and a summary of my strengths and weaknesses.
